Our powerful high-dose Omega-3 is no fishy business. It is packed with essential EPA and DHA fatty acids that are molecularly distilled from sustainably-sourced, cold water fish to give you all the benefits with no aftertaste:

  • Promotes cognitive function and eye health
  • Support a healthy heart beat
  • Helps maintain youthful skin
  • Key for diets lacking fish

As a dietary supplement, adults take one (1) softgel daily, or as directed by a health care professional.

Anyone who wants the benefits of omega-3 fish oil can take this supplement, especially those whose diets are low in fish. However, individuals with seafood allergies, bleeding disorders, or those taking blood-thinning medications should consult healthcare providers before use.

Featured Ingredients

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)

DHA is a polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), which is also known as a good fat, that has many benefits but are especially known for supporting the brain and eyes. DHAs are found in all cell membranes but are more concentrated in brain and eye cells. DHAs help improve cell communication by making the cells more fluid, which allows neurotransmitters, the chemical messengers between cells, to be released from cells and pass through between cells more freely. By supporting cell communication, DHA helps our brains remain alert and helps our eyes transmit visual signals to our brains.* Our DHA is from natural triglyceride fish oil that is molecularly distilled from sustainably-sourced, cold water fish with no aftertaste.

Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA)

Like DHA, EPA is also a good fat. EPA plays a pivotal role in supporting heart health by helping to reduce triglycerides and blood pressure. Its anti-inflammatory properties also contribute to joint comfort and flexibility, helping to reduce symptoms of joint pain. EPA's impact extends to mental wellness as well, as it has been linked to improved mood and emotional balance.*

Did you know?

Many fish oil supplements don't contain enough EPA and DHA

Many omega-3 fish oil supplements on the market contain up to 1,000 mg of fish oil per servings but only contain 300 mg or less of EPA and DHA. Read the label when choosing an omega-3 fish oil to ensure it contains at least 500 mg of EPA and DHA. Our Ultra Omega-3 fish oil contains 1250 mg of fish oil, 1000 of which are EPA and DHA.

FAQ

Is this supplement suitable for pregnancy?

Our Ultra Omega 3 supplement more than meets the minimum requirements of DHA and EPA set by most organizations for pregnant women in just a single serving. Furthermore, this product adheres to strict European standards to remove heavy metals such as lead and mercury, PCBs, dioxins, pesticides and other unwanted compounds. The potent dosage and purity of this product makes it suitable for pregnant women. That said, we always recommend speaking with a healthcare professional first, as with starting any new supplement.

What's the difference between regular and concentrated fish oil?

Concentrated fish oil has higher levels of EPA and DHA, providing more potency in smaller doses compared to regular fish oil. Our process not only provides high levels of EPA and DHA but also ensures our fish oil is kept in its natural triglyceride form for optimal absorption by the body. Furthermore, our fish oil is molecularly distilled, making it more pure than fish oil that has not undergone this process. During this meticulous process, the fish oil undergoes molecular separation to isolate and remove any potential impurities, contaminants, heavy metals, and pollutants. By selecting molecularly distilled fish oil, you are opting for a premium product that ensures a cleaner and safer source of essential nutrients.

Are vegetarian sources of Omega-3s as effective as fish oil?

Plant-based omega-3 sources include flaxseed, pumpkin, chia, and more. But, eating these foods for your omega-3s does come with an important limitation. These plant-based omega sources contain ALA, a precursor to EPA and DHA, and your body has to convert ALA into EPA and DHA. This conversion is not very efficient and ends up with marginal amounts of EPA and DHA, making it more effective to directly consume EPA and DHA derived from fish. However, a plant-based alternative is sourcing omega-3s from algae which does directly contain EPA and DHA without needing to convert from ALA. Our team is currently working on developing a vegan form of omega-3s sourced from algae.

Are there any side effects to taking fish oil?

While generally safe, excessive intake could lead to bleeding issues. It's important to consult a healthcare professional, especially if you're on medications or have specific health conditions, to understand if high potency fish oil is right for you.

So much omega-3 content in just 1 capsule!

I usually take Nordic naturals, which is a great brand as well but with these I only need to take 1 capsule for more than 1,000 omega-3 content instead of 2 with nordic naturals. Starting taking these just for the convenience alone!
